Hi, I'm Haley! A follower of Jesus, lover of LOTR, Disney and ALL animals, bookworm and writer, dog-mom to a feisty pup named Rory, and wife to my amazing husbabe, Hunter. I believe in puppy-love at first sight, and I will kiss any dog I meet - no shame. I am also the Founder of Street Dog Dash 5k.

I founded SDD 5K in 2018 as a way to combine my passion for animals with a way to serve my local community and give back to the world. I’m a strong believer in trying to leave the world a better place than you found it. Once I learned about the horrific Dog Meat Trade over in Asia, something inside me broke, and I knew I had to act. The Street Dog Dash was born out of my God-given love for animals, and a belief that we must be a voice for the less fortunate, and those who can’t speak for themselves.
